Yes, they were built as just plain HTML/JS games that run inside the webview of Messenger.

I’m not actually totally sure if all the sensors are available as if you were to run them from the mobile browser (Safari/Chrome). My guess is Facebook webview probably limits it to a subset of it. So depends on what you want to use, it may or may not be available.
